I've debated how to write this, so I'll just say it plainly: after some reflection over my summer break, I've decided this will be the last issue of The AI UX Dispatch.

When I started this newsletter, the goal was simple: cut through the noise so you didn't have to, and share the handful of things each week that actually seemed worth your time. I've loved doing it. There's a real pleasure in reading widely, sifting for what matters, and sharing it with others.

I'm now ready to step more fully into retirement. Not away from AI—I still use it nearly every day, and I'm as fascinated by where it's going as I've ever been—but away from the weekly rhythm of reading, sifting, and writing it all up. The Dispatch was a bridge for me, and a good one.

To continue to keep a curated finger on the pulse on AI, I can recommend these three key resources:

  • Ethan Mollick's One Useful Thing. Mollick is one of the clearest, most level-headed voices on AI and its impacts.

  • Lenny's Podcast. His interviews with product leaders provide insight and perspective into using AI for product development.

  • Ridd's Dive Club. A similar interview format to Lenny’s Podcast, but talking with leading designers on how they're putting AI to work in their organizations.

Thank you for reading—and for the thoughtful replies. It's been a genuine pleasure.

All the best, Heidi
